The Gospel

We believe that the Gospel is that the Kingdom of God is here now and that Jesus did everything in his sinless life, atoning death and resurrection to reconcile the whole world to the Father.

Statement Of Faith

Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father through Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried; And He rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His kingdom shall have no end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Creator of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the prophets.

In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come.

Amen.

  • The Trinity

God is known to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Creator who seeks to restore fallen humanity by calling a people to be faithful in fellowship, worship, service, and witness.

  • Jesus

Jesus is the Son of God. Through his life and teachings, his cross and resurrection, he showed us how to be faithful disciples, redeemed the world, and offers eternal life.

  • The Church

As a church, we are a community of those whom God's Spirit calls to turn from sin, acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, receive baptism upon confession of faith, and follow Christ in life.

  • Scripture

As a faith community, we accept God, as revealed in Scripture and the incarnation of Jesus Christ, as our authority for faith and life. We believe the New Testament Scriptures illuminate the New Covenant and guide our understanding. However, we recognize that the full wisdom, mystery, and nature of God cannot be confined to any text. Therefore, we affirm that the Holy Spirit, given to every believer, is the ultimate authority for discerning God’s will and guiding their obedience.
